Dixie Sue McGrew, 54, of Prosser, WA passed away on Saturday, February 7, 1998, at Providence Medical Center in Yakima, WA.

Dixie was born on January 30, 1944, in Hermiston, OR, the daughter of Fred B. and Beatrice (Bensel) Barker.

She attended Richland's Columbia High School with the Class of 1962.

On September 26, 1961, she married Jerald Clarence McGrew in Kootenai, ID. Since 1977, Dixie and Jerald have made Prosser their home.

Dixie is survived by her husband, Jerald of Prosser: two sons, Greg G. McGrew of Colville and Gary G. McGrew of Bellingham; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Fred Barker ^Jr. of San Diego, CA and David L. Barker ('66) of Chicago, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Beverly Barker Hughes.

At Dixie's request, there will be no funeral service.
