Peggy L. (Ott) Hershey passed away on April 8, 2025 in Salem, Oregon. She was 78 years old. She was born in Richland, Washington on February 5, 1947.

She graduated with the Class of 1965 from Richland's Columbia High School and attended Central Washington State College. She then moved to Portland, Oregon in 1967 where she worked for the Equitable Life Insurance Company.

Peggy married Bob Hershey in 1972. They had been together for 52 years.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; her two children, Jill Renee Lowe (Dirck) and Jamie Leigh Lew (Brian); and four grandchildren: Avery and Ryan Lowe and Ruby and Samuel Lew.

Arrangements were made by Howell, Edwards of Salem.

Peggy's remains will be buried at City View Cemetery.
