Terrence Joseph Ward, 78, of Richland, died unexpectedly March 16, 2026, in Richland.

He was born August 20, 1947, in Yakima to Beatrice E. and John M. Ward and was a lifelong resident of Richland.

Terry attended Christ the King School, Chief Jo Junior High School and graduated from Richland's Columbia High School with the class of 1966.

His siblings are Jim Ward ('63), Judy Ward Robertson ('64) and Kathy Ward Schroeder ('67).

From the Tri-City Herald on March 30, 1967:
"Airman Terrence J. Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Ward of 1331 Cottonwood Dr. in Richland has been selected for technical training at Amarillo AFB, Texas as an aircraft maintenance specialist. The airman recently completed basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas".

The U.S. Air Force veteran was a retired machinist for the government.

CODA Alternative Cremation Society, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

A Celebration of Life will be held sometime in the future.
