BOMBER MEMORIAL
DONALD RAY "DON"/"SKEET" FOWLER ~ Class of 1969
January 13, 1951 - February 1, 2026

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Donald R. "Skeet" Fowler, of Richland,
Washington who passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the age of 75 after a long
illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald R. "Doc" Fowler and Wenonah Y. "Nona"
Fowler.
Skeet was born January 13, 1951. He was the eldest of three children. His sister is Diana Bernard ('70) (Willy),
and his brother is Dwight "Skip" Fowler ('73) (Tammy).
He graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1969, and after attending college he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy
he met and married Tamara, and they raised three boys: Jens, Jess (Ashley) and Josh
(Rachel).
He was a proud IBEW Local 46 Electrician for 30ish years before retiring to enjoy time with
his three sons, five grand-kids, numerous nieces and nephews, Gin Berries, any and all sports,
the beach, music and lots of laughs.
His family meant everything to him. Everyone that knew him knew how special he
was. Such a generous heart and never a negative word. He was a wonderful dad and proud
papa! He was always supportive, and he loved to have a good time with good company!
We will all miss that laugh, his smile, the eyebrow nod and the safe space and open ears (even
if he couldn’t hear ya, ha!) that he always provided.
At his request there will be no service.
