It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved, Kathy Carlson in Spokane, Washington, who passed away at the age of 74 on January 5, 2026. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kathy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by her parents, Richard Weetman and Edythe Weetman; and her brother, George Richard "Rick" Weetman ('71).

Kathy is survived by her husband, John; her daughters, Heather (Reid) and Sara (John); her grandchildren: Alex, Alyssa and Ava; and her brother, John ('81) (Naomi). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A rosary will be held on Friday, January 23rd, 2026 at 9:45 AM at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church (330 E. Boone Ave; Spokane, WA 99202). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 23rd, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
