Anne Elizabeth Macak was born May 14, 1949, to Charles and Barbara Macak. She passed away January 5, 2026, at her home in Bisbee, AZ.
Anne grew up in Boise, ID until 1965 when the family moved to Richland.
She attended Col-Hi and was an honorary member of the class of 1967.
Anne was a bit of a gypsy and made her home in a variety of places from Idaho, assorted towns in Washington, Hawaii and ultimately settled in Bisbee, AZ. At one time Anne owned a tavern in Rosalyn, WA.
She enjoyed photography, music, animals, gardening, and traveling.
Anne is survived by her partner, Butch; brother, Tony Macak ('69); nephew, Tony Tom; and niece, Carissa Paul.
Her sister, Steffanie Macak ('71), passed away January 12, 2026, just a week after Anne.
