Cynthia Ann Adkins, 72, passed away on May 9, 2021. She was born on April 15, 1949, to Lloyd and Betty (Evans) DeHart in Richland, WA.

She graduated with the Class of 1967 from Richland's Columbia High School.

She went to Central Washington University and graduated with a teaching degree. She and husband, Gordon, taught at several Christian schools and at New Life Church in Okanogan, WA.

Cynthia was involved in Child Evangelism Fellowship (Good News Clubs), Women's Aglow, and Christians in Action. Cindy worked at H & R Block for many years and had been a Tupperware dealer.

Gordie and Cindy were also foster parents for over 90 children.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gordon Adkins; brother, Allen DeHart ('66); sister, Patricia Thompson ('73); son, Daniel Schertz; and daughter, Christine Robinson.

A Memorial Service was held Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at New Life Church; 508 4th St. S; Okanogan, WA.
